Boarding the Red Eye Flight

Like most international travellers contemplating an overseas trip, last night I tried to get to sleep without success, thinking what do I need, which coat do I take, have I got my passport, have I packed X, Y & Z, and then thinking the dreaded “I must go to sleep, I must go to sleep” – a vicious circle.

Today I have flown out to Amsterdam to catch a connection to Kazakhstan.

Why Kazakhstan?

Well, UKTI have organised a trip for around 30 UK businesses to investigate the Kazakhstan oil and gas market. We are looking to help these and other UK businesses that want to work in Kazakhstan, where they do not know the best structure to operate or do not have any contacts. They often tell me that they just do not know where to go for trusted advice or have heard horror stories of businesses getting their fingers burnt!

Is this something that concerns you? Do you need help with your journey into this market?
